How we make money

Piste Picker is free to use. Some of the links to other sites are affiliate links: if you book through one, the company may pay us a small commission. You pay the same price either way.
Commission never affects the rankings. Resorts are ranked only on how well they match the answers you give. Whether a resort has partner links, or how much a partner pays, plays no part in the order.
Which links may earn us commission
Links to these kinds of companies may be affiliate links:
- Flight search sites
- Hotel and accommodation booking sites
- Ski and snowboard equipment hire
- Ski and snowboard lessons, and winter activities
- Airport transfers and car hire
- Travel insurance comparison sites and insurers
We work with these companies directly or through affiliate networks such as Awin and Stay22. Accommodation links go through Stay22, which passes you straight on to Booking.com or Vrbo. Some links, including links to resorts' own websites, earn us nothing.
Links that may earn us commission are marked Ad.
When sponsored spots or advertising appear on the site, they will be clearly labelled as adverts.
How affiliate tracking works
When you click an affiliate link, the company you visit, or the network we use, records that you came from Piste Picker. This usually uses a cookie or similar technology on their site, and lasts for a set period. If you book in that time, they pay us a commission.
We receive reports of clicks, bookings and commission. These don't include your name, email address or payment details. See our privacy and cookies policy for more.
Insurance
We don't give advice on insurance or recommend particular policies. Links to insurance sites are there so you can compare cover yourself. Check that any policy covers winter sports, off-piste riding and your own equipment before you buy.
